# Bond & Lock
1. Click the `Bond & Lock` button.
The following pop-up will appear.
1. Enter the amount that you want to deposit;
2. Choose a slippage tolerance;
3. Create a new locked position, or choose an existing once;
4. Choose the lock duration in weeks;
5. Choose the desired ratio between **`veCVG`** and **`ysCVG`**;
6. Click the `Deposit` button.
The confirmation pop-up will appear.
1. Acknowledge that locking **`CVG`** is irreversible;
2. Click the `Finalize` button and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
